Wait...It's already the middle of October?

Hoy,

I can't believe that is already the middle of October. This semester is going way too fast and I am not enjoying the fact that my college days are coming to an end. As mentioned before, my semester is hectic. I was taking 21 credits as of last week but realized for my mental health that I needed to drop a class. I am now taking 19 credits, which is still super busy. 16 of those credits are actual classes and 3 of them are for a research paper I have to write about the ROMO internship.

In other news I feel like I finally have a handle on what I want to do with my life, at least initially right when I get out. I have decided that I want to hike part of the AT. I think a new sense of love for nature all came together when I was laying face down on a massage chair getting a permanent symbol of a hiker on my rib. My symbol is a constant reminder that I am fueled for adventure. I am prepared and yet spontaneous, cautious yet brazen, brave and yet fragile. If you have no idea what I am taking about and can't read in between the lines, then you obviously don't know me.

A couple of weeks ago I ran the Dash for Dad 10k in Alexandria. I did decently well considering I hadn't really trained for it. I only came in around 3 minutes more then last year's time when I was training for it rather rigorously. I am also going to NYC this weekend for a mini vacation/retreat. I have decided that sometimes you just need a break, and honestly if anyone needs one it is me. In addition I have found that people are the tools for anyone's success. You can't do anything alone and I am fortunate to have someone who builds and boosts up my confidence each and everyday :) Life is pretty good so far.
