Real Life Starts Tomorrow

So I am enjoying it here in Africa. Today's highlights
1) I did my own hand washed laundry!-- I think I used too much soap though and not sure I rinsed it out correctly. Also my underwear is on display for everyone to see. Kind of awkward. Luckily no granny pannies
2) We went into the market of Thies and I bought tea and sugar in french...or bad french. I didn't get ripped off though which was good
3) I went for a 30 minute run in the stadium near our training center and was sort of like the hot bed of attention. I guess since I'm white and I probably run awkwardly. I stopped running at one point because I am a bit out of shape and I was gently verbally told to "courrir" and I responded something nonsensical because I was tired and because I was out of breath but mostly because it caught me on guard. I perfected my response though when two older men asked what I was doing and I said I was tired and wanted to walk. So props to me.

I am tired and bugs are out. You know don't want to get malaria. Also something is bothering my stomach which means another trip to the toilet. Bye for now.
